DXM is a psychoactive substance when taken in higher than recommended doses or amounts.
Euphoria, slurred speech, increased heart rate, increased blood pressure, increased temperature, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, confusion, paranoia, altered visual perceptions, problems with movement, buildup of excess acid in body fluids.
The long-term effects are unknown. However, other health related issues include breathing problems, seizures and increased heart rate.
There are no symptoms of withdrawal.
DXM can be swallowed.
DXM can be found in a syrup or capsule form.
